Carolina Panthers, OT Taylor Moton attain four-year, $72M extension, NFL sources say

The Carolina Panthers and offensive deal with Taylor Moton agreed to a mammoth four-year, $72 million extension that features $43 million assured at signing, sources informed ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday.

The blockbuster deal, introduced by the staff solely as a multiyear extension, beats Thursday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline for franchise gamers to signal extensions.

Moton grew to become the fourth of the ten gamers to obtain the franchise tag this 12 months to succeed in a long-term contract, becoming a member of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, New York Giants defensive lineman Leonard Williams and Denver Broncos security Justin Simmons.
