He ran as a Bearcat from 2005 to 2007. He was one of many first folks to assist transition the cross nation program from a membership to varsity sport in 2006.
Throughout his undergraduate time at Baruch, he completed in first place individually on the 2006 CUNYAC Finals. In 2008, he was named the CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Yr Male Honorable Point out.
He would later coach the boys’s cross nation workforce from 2009-2016 along with his spouse Mercedes Zegarra-Soja, who he first met at Baruch throughout a cross nation observe.
